Anxiety disorders affect nearly 30% of adults in their lifespan. It is estimated that worldwide, nearly 285 million people are affected by anxiety. The National Alliance of Mental Health further estimates that anxiety symptoms develop before the age of 21.

Physical
The middle tips should go into a bit more detail and explain more. Keep them short and to the point. E.g., if you're writing a post about how to blog, you can write something like: "Decide how often you want to blog. Be realistic about it. Think you can blog twice a month? Commit to once a month and stick to it."
Social Isolation
Feeling restless and on edge often leads to social isolation. Social isolation is correlated with lower life satisfaction and can trigger a depressive episode. Forming and keeping meaningful relationships call for us to be engaged in the world, which is very challenging to do when anxiety symptoms are not managed.
Self-Destructive Behavior & Addiction
As one continues to isolate, destructive patterns of behavior are a matter of time. Addiction to alcohol and or abusing benzodiazepines are frequent occurrences.
Self-esteem & Depression
Once one builds a relationship with a substance, chemical dependence can often lead to losing self-control or reduced functional performance. The loss of self-control, self-respect, isolation, and physical illness usually follows low self-esteem and a possible depressive episode.
What is normal, and when its a problem?
The first step is to understand the difference between chronic vs. normal anxiety. Most people will experience an anxiety episode in their lives. Stressful things happen to all of us, which can trigger an anxiety episode; this is normal. However, when one experiences an ongoing state of anxiety which then transitions into destructive patterns of behavior limiting the level of functioning, an opportunity to improve one’s ability to manage anxiety becomes critical to take action.
Mind and Body Connection
Anxiety episode is directly related to an automatic thought process. Being aware of the thought process and knowing how to manage it effectively is a skill we are not naturally equipped with from birth. Moreover, managing anxiety is not only a mental job. It relies on your ability to learn to use your body for you and not have it work against you. Learning to position your body into a state where you build the foundation to access automatic destructive thoughts is like laying a solid foundation for a home. From this foundation, you will have a better platform to access your thoughts that are responsible for symptoms of anxiety. Once you gain access to the thoughts, you can challenge them and reframe them.
Should I take medication to help me manage anxiety?
Experts recommend combining medication treatment, CBT, and mindfulness training. In most cases, therapy alone can treat anxiety symptoms. Together we will find an approach that works best for you.
